In the hurried pace of today it is so important to set aside time to consider one of the fundamental life building blocks: the family. The intentions set and shared in partnership ripple out into your family life in powerful and supportive ways.
I would be honored to work with you as you navigate the terrain of parenthood.
The work of parenting is an ongoing, dynamic enterprise, one that requires attention and personal reflection. Oftentimes this important topic of parenting is taken up in the late evening hours after children have gone to bed and adults are exhausted.
I am offering to act as a guide for you and your spouse or other support caregiver as you sit together with the intention of considering your child(ren), asking who he/she is, and how you are, individually and as a family, supporting the child.
Let’s attain a greater understanding of your child as we attend to your questions and concerns.
The love you have for your child ideally should be tangible in the physical space that surrounds him/her.
We can brainstorm ways this can be more clear and refined. We can look at particular scenarios and specific rooms/areas of the home.

Elizabeth Hale-MacKinnon is profoundly connected with children, she respects them and their unfolding potential. Over the past twenty years, she has gained administrative and teaching experience in both Montessori and Waldorf schools. Elizabeth is dual trained through the Association Montessori Internationale (primary training for 3-6 year olds and elementary training for 6-12 year olds). Pedagogically and personally, she is able to shed light on child development. In addition to her experience with children, she is a sensitive listener and especially enjoys learning about a family’s values, as well as what parents wish for their children. As a natural observer and investigator, she delights in helping adults find solutions to issues especially when this understanding benefits the growth of the child and strengthens the family.
